Architectural Lighting - President's Board Room

We were charged with creating a flexible lighting system on a limited budget. The lighting system had to provide appropriate illumination for a variety of functions from receptions to press conferences to A/V presentations to Board of Regents meetings. Each pair of photographs (left and right) illustrates the room as viewed from opposite ends. Each pair depicts one of the many lighting scenes that can be recalled at the touch of a button. At the top is a general, open ambiance created with indirect illumination. The middle scene shows task-oriented lighting for the full room. Focused lighting in the bottom scene allows for slide and video presentations without completely darkening the room.
